Egg Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients :

A :

Butter

Shortening

Icing sugar, sifted

Egg yolk

 

 

Flour

Baking powder

Bicarbonate of soda

Salt

 

 

Egg + 1/8 salt (beaten for glazing)

Method :
  • Beat A till well combine. Mix in the sifted ingredients B to form a soft dough.

  • Shape into small balls.

  • Arrange on greased baking tray at least 3cm - 4cm apart to prevent sticking.

  • Brush with beaten egg and bake at 180oC till lightly brown.

  • Remove, cook before storing into air-tight container.
