Beef and French Fries Recipe

(Thit Bo Va Khoai Tay Chien)

Ingredients : Serves 4

1 medium

2 cloves

275 g

15 ml

Vegetable oil

Potatoes, peeled and cut into matchsticks

Onion, thinly sliced

Garlic, minced

Sirloin steak, cut into thin slices

Corn flour

Water

Sugar

Nuoc Mam sauce or light soy sauce

Method :
  • Pour 90ml oil into a frying pan.

  • Add the potatoes and fry until brown.

  • Discard the oil and set aside the potatoes.

  • Fry the onion and garlic in 30ml oil.

  • Add the beef and stir fry for 1 minute.

  • Mix the corn flour, water, sugar and Nuoc Mam sauce to a smooth paste.

  • Add this to the beef and stir.

  • Add the potatoes and stir well to combine.
