Crispy Beef Slices Serves
with a Spicy Dip Recipe

Fillet steak, cut across the grain into thin slices 5cm long
Sesame seed oil
Nuoc Mam sauce (optional)
Root ginger, finely minced
Rice wine or dry sherry
Vegetable oil for deep frying
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Mix the dip ingredients thoroughly in a
bowl and set aside.
Mix all the other ingredients except the
corn flour in a second bowl and allow to marinade for 1 hour before
Dredge the beef slices in corn flour.
In a wok, deep fry a few pieces at a time
until golden brown.
The color comes form the corn flour and
not the beef.
