Double Cooked Pork Slice Recipe

Pork (boneless)

Green onion

Ginger

Green peppers

Red peppers

Garlic buds

Sweet soy bean paste

Hot bean paste

Soy sauce

Sugar

Oil

Method :
  • Boil the whole pork with a little wine, ginger and green onion for about 30 minutes. Remove and set aside to cool.

  • Cut the pork into very thin slices.

  • Cut the green and red peppers into 1 inch squares (remove seeds first).

  • Slice the garlic lengthwise.

  • Mix in small bowl the sweet soy bean paste with soy sauce, sugar and hot bean paste.

  • Fry the pork slices in 3 tablespoons oil for one minute. Then add garlic, green and red peppers. Stir for 1 more minute.

  • Remove from pan. Use the remaining oil to fry the sweet soy bean paste for 10 seconds.

  • Return pork mixture, stir well and serve.
