Caramel Syrup Recipe

(Nuoc Mau)

Ingredients :

250 ml

200 g

Water

White or brown sugar

Method :
  • Bring water and sugar to the boil, stirring.

  • Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is dark brown in color.

  • Remove from heat and add in 2-3 tablespoons water and stir.

  • Pour into a glass container and cover.

  • Use as required.
