Steamed Crabs with Ginger Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 4-6

1 kg

 

Seasonings :-

1 tablespoon

1/4 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

1 tablespoon

1 1/4 inch

3 cloves

 

Sauce ingredients :

2 cloves

2 tablespoons

1 teaspoon

4 tablespoons

2 tablespoons

1 tablespoon

1 teaspoon

Crabs (each halved)

 

 

Cooking wine

Salt

Pepper

Soy sauce

Ginger, finely chopped

Garlic, finely chopped

 

 

Garlic, finely chopped

Tomato ketchup

Hot chili oil

Soy sauce

Sherry

Hoisin sauce

Sesame oil

Method :
  • Mix seasoning ingredients together evenly.

  • Place crabs on a heatproof plate and pour seasoning ingredients over.

  • Steam till just cooked or about 15 minutes. remove and garnish as liked.

  • For the sauce : Heat sauce ingredients in a wok.

  • Serve immediately with crabs.
