Stir Fried Cockles with Vegetables Recipe

(So Huyet Xao Gia He)

Ingredients : Serves 4

1/4 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

Cockles, cleaned

Cooking oil

Garlic, finely chopped

Bean sprouts

Chinese chives, cut into 5 cm lengths

Salt

Ground white pepper

Sugar

Fish sauce

Method :
  • Place cockles in boiling water for 5 minutes.

  • Shell and set aside.

  • Heat cooking oil and stir fry garlic until fragrant.

  • Add cockles and sauté for a few minutes.

  • Add bean sprouts and Chinese chives and sauté.

  • Season with salt, pepper, sugar and fish sauce to taste.

  • Serve with steamed rice.
