Vietnamese Shrimps Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 3 - 5

Seasoning, combine:

4 tablespoons

2 tablespoons

2 tablespoons

1/2 teaspoon

Medium-size shrimps

Lemon grass, finely sliced and chopped

Chilies, finely chopped

Dried chilies, finely chopped

Big onion, finely chopped

 

 

Tom yam paste

Tamarind juice (from 1/2 teaspoons tamarind mixed with 3 tablespoons water)

Sugar

Sesame Oil

Method :
  • Season shrimps with a pinch of salt, sugar and monosodium glutamate.

  • Toss in 1 cup corn flour.

  • Deep fry marinated shrimps in hot oil until crispy. Drain.

  • Heat wok with oil and fry chopped ingredients until fragrant.

  • Add seasoning and fry well.

  • Toss in shrimps and stir fry well.

  • Lastly, add sesame oil.
