Minced Beef and Tomato Soup Recipe

(Canh Bo Rau Ram)

Ingredients : Serves 4

Garnishing

2 sprigs

Minced beef

Salt, or to taste

Ground white pepper

Water or stock

Tomatoes, cut into wedges

Onion, peeled and cut into wedges

Chicken seasoning powder

 

 

Polygonum leaves, finely chopped

Method :
  • Marinate beef with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Bring water or stock to the boil.

  • Add tomatoes, minced beef and onion.

  • Bring to the boil again and season soup to taste with salt and chicken seasoning powder.

  • Ladle soup into individual serving bowls and sprinkle with pepper and polyganum leaves.

  • Serve hot with steamed rice.
