Stir-Fried Chinese Leaves Recipe

Garlic, crushed and finely chopped

Small head Chinese leaves, finely sliced

Egg, beaten

Nuoc Cham sauce

Salt

Pepper

Method :
  • Heat the oil in a wok.

  • Add the garlic and stir for about 1 minute.

  • Add the Chinese leaves and stir fry for 5 minutes.

  • Make a well in the centre of the leaves and pour in the beaten egg and a little nuoc cham sauce.

  • Stir the leaves into the egg mixture, starting with those nearest to the egg.

  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  • Serve hot with white plain rice, if desired.
