Ingredients :
A :

B : (sifted)

1 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon
C :
Butter
Shortening
Icing sugar, sifted
Egg yolk
Flour
Baking powder
Bicarbonate of soda
Salt
Egg + 1/8 salt (beaten for glazing)
Beat A till well combine. Mix in the sifted ingredients B to form a soft dough.
Shape into small balls.
Arrange on greased baking tray at least 3cm - 4cm apart to prevent sticking.
Brush with beaten egg and bake at 180oC till lightly brown.
Remove, cook before storing into air-tight container.
