Grilled Beef with Hot Basil
and Chili Sauce Recipe

Beef rib-eye or lean flank steak
Hot basil and chili sauce
Crispy fried basil leaves, to serve
Soy sauce
Fish sauce
Sugar
Freshly ground black pepper
Method :
First make the Marinade by combining the
soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar and black pepper in a bowl.
Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the Marinade over the beef and
marinate for about 1 hour.
Grill the beef on a charcoal or pan grill
until browned on the outside but still pink and moist on the inside.
This should take 5 to 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Cut the beef into thin sliced and place on
a serving platter.
Pour the hot basil and chili sauce and
serve with crispy fried basil leaves.
