Sweet Grilled Pork Skewers Recipe

(Nem Nuong)

These pork skewers are very good cooked on the barbecue.

Ingredients : Serves 4

500 g

1 teaspoon

3 cloves

1 1/2 tablespoons

2 1/2 teaspoons

2 tablespoons

Finely minced pork


Garlic, finely minced

Golden caster sugar

Corn flour

Vietnamese fish sauce

Method :
  • Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly.

  • Cover and leave to marinade overnight in the refrigerator.

  • Soak 16 bamboo skewers in water for about 20 minutes, then form the pork mixture around them.

  • Cook the pork skewers under a preheated grill for about 10 minutes, turning them frequently.

  • To eat, remove the meat from the skewers wrap it up in salad leaves and dip into the sauce.
