Soak the bamboo skewers in water for 30
minutes then set aside.

To prepare the Marinade, combine lime
juice, garlic, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and soft drink in a bowl and
set aside.

Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces.
Marinate pork in mixture for 8 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

Drain the meat and reserve Marinade.
Thread 4-5 pieces of meat onto each skewer.

Heat griller and grill pork over
medium-low heat, for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until lightly
browned.

Meanwhile, place the Marinade in a wok and
bring to the boil. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.

Remove from heat and blend in tomato or
banana ketchup, stirring until smooth.

Brush both sides of the skewered pork with
the reserved Marinade.

Continue grilling until pork is completely
cooked and browned on both sides.

If desired, reheat the Marinade and serve
as a dip.
