Chinese Leaf Salad Recipe

Chinese leaves, shredded

Carrot, grated, soaked in cold water and dried

Cucumber, deseeded and cubed

Coriander (cilantro) leaves

Basil leaves

Mint leaves and chives

Spring onions, thinly sliced

Small red chilies, finely chopped

Nuoc cham sauce

Limes (squeezed and juiced)

Golden caster sugar

White rice vinegar

Cold water

Method :
  • Put the Chinese leaves, carrot and cucumber into a large salad bowl with the coriander (cilantro) leaves and basil leaves.

  • Add mint leaves and chives to taste

  • Combine all the remaining ingredients in another bowl.

  • Mix well and pour over the salad.

  • Toss and serve.
