Crushed Roasted Peanuts Recipe

You will find crushed roasted peanuts on the table almost everywhere you go in Vietnam. they are used as a garnish to soups, noodles, rice dishes - almost everything.

Ingredients : Makes 50 g

Skinless un-roasted peanuts

Method :
  • Dry fry the nuts gently in a frying pan or spread around them out on a baking try and put them in a preheated oven, 140 - 150oC (275 - 300oF), Gas Mark 1-2.

  • Stir them around until they turn a golden color. Remove and allow to cool.

  • Place the nuts in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

  • They will keep for up to 4 weeks in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
