Spicy Tamarind Dip Recipe

Ingredients :

1 tablespoon

2 teaspoons

2 teaspoons

1/2 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

1/2 teaspoon

Tamarind pulp, soaked in 60 ml warm water

Ginger, grated or crushed

Soft brown sugar or palm sugar


Ground cumin

Ground fennel

Method :
  • Soaked the tamarind pulp into 60 ml of water water.

  • Strain the mixture.

  • Add the ginger, brown sugar, salt, cumin and fennel into the mixture.

  • Stir constantly to dissolve the sugar and salt.

  • Transfer to a sauce bowl.
