Sweet and Sour Sauce Recipe

Ingredients :

100 g

1/2 teaspoon

60 ml

125 ml

2 tablespoons

Sugar

Salt

Tomato ketchup

Vinegar

Corn flour dissolved in 250 ml water

Method :
  • Mix the sugar, salt, tomato ketchup and vinegar in a saucepan.

  • Simmer over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Stir in corn flour and water mixture.

  • Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.

  • Remove from the heat and set aside to cold.

  • Serve with appetizers like fish ball starters, deep fried shrimps or squid.
