Cucumber, cut into 7 pieces
Garlic
Brown pepper corn
Hot bean paste
Hot oil (hot red pepper oil)

Method :

Cut off and discard both tips of cucumber,
then cut into diagonal or triangles shapes (or cut into lengthwise 2
inches long). Let stand in bowl, sprinkle with salt, soak for 2 - 3
hours.

Wash the cucumber with cold water and let
dry. Put back in bowl.

Add garlic slices, brown peppercorns, hot
bean paste, hot oil, sugar, vinegar and sesame oil.

Mix and soak for about 3 hours.
Tips
This may be kept for 1 week in
refrigerator, covered.
