Water Convolvulus Stir Fried with Fermented Black Beans Recipe

Ingredients : Serves 4

3 cloves

1 tablespoon

600 g


Cooking oil

Garlic, smashed and peeled, roughly chopped

Fermented black bean paste

Water convolvulus, snipped into 4-5 sections

Red chilies, sliced

Method :
  • Heat oil in a wok until smoking hot.

  • Quickly fry the garlic and black bean paste to release aromas, about 30 seconds.

  • Add water convolvulus and red chili, lower heat to medium, and stir fry continuously for about          3 minutes, or until wilted and bean paste is evenly distributed.

  • Transfer to platter.

  • Serve with steamed rice.
